Did this as a "little walk" before we went Adventure Tubing. Didn't take the GPS. Wished we had.

GPS? Who needs a GPS? ........Um WE do!

Alice practices her beam skills at the beginning of the walk when we were still on track . Parallel bars next

Made a holy mess of this and ended up too far east near Dochlaggie.

No idea where we're going but if we stride out with style we won't look like hopeless plonkers
Used the pylon line to correct ourselves and got back on track at the abandoned Docharn Farm.

Sam finds a tractor....and sits in it.

The one positive about our unintended diversion was that I FINALLY got to see my first Capercallie ( a sizeable female). Sadly the Capercallie was not long for this world and didn't make any effort to move away from us (hence the close up picture). We left the bird in peace.

This capercaillie was sick (it didn't move) but VERY much alive...in spite of what my mean family said about me photographing "dead wildlife"
Came across four deer too (all very much alive) and Alice won 10points for Gryffindor by being the first to spot all the deer.
