first time walking 2 munros 1 day started off climbing stob dearg which took a bit of heads down and upwards up through the corrie once we reached the summit cloud free what a view could see for miles, after about 20mins started along the ridge to reach the second summit stob na broige which took only about 1/2 hour to reach by this time weather was starting to close in but still managed to get some pics in between the breaks,on way back down we could hear the sound of the mountain rescue chopper just below us ,with mrt team out attending a walker that was injured in a fall on the way down, speaking to one of his party we were told that he had broke his ankles hope he recovers soon, so if anybody in the forum was on the hill that day and know the walker wish them a speedy recovery, and a big well done to all at MRT what would we do without them. After all the hard work we all enjoyed our day out.ps this was the last time on the hills for glasgow city council walking club as they can no longer fund the mountain walks even though we had a full mini bus every time we went out and paid our dues.so i will be looking for another club,or maybe just go solo.
