This was a lovely relaxing day

Extremely easy munro , i'm sure Falkland hill is more hard going than this munro.

Anne and I parked the car at Rannach Moor station and caught the train to Corrour.

Weather was closing in and by the time we got up there there were no views . but still a lovely relaxing day . We had time to kill before the train so we decided to have a wee nosey at the hostel. The lovely lady invited us in and made us a coffee ( how nice was that :D ! )

The Midgies were out in form , in fact this was the worst day of the year for Midgies for me anyhoo.

Really pants that the restaurant/hotel will only serve residents there was at least 10 of us waiting on the train , good trade lost if you ask me !!

Oh yeah and then i realised i had no petrol  But we made it to Pitlochry with the skin of our teeth i now know i can be in the red for at least 34 Miles  ....Not sure if thats a good thing to know or not

Totally agree, was there a couple of weeks ago walking Sgor Gaibhre and Carn Dearg. We were knocked back for a coffee when we arrived in the morning. Not open to the public until 18.30 when the main train people get back is at 18.25 !!! Whats that all about. Think they are trying to tell walkers they don't want their business. Strange.

Absalutely Neil . Completely baffles me , if you are open and have a member of staff on anyway it seems madness to me too.
