This was a lovely relaxing day
Extremely easy munro , i'm sure Falkland hill is more hard going than this munro.
Anne and I parked the car at Rannach Moor station and caught the train to Corrour.
Weather was closing in and by the time we got up there there were no views . but still a lovely relaxing day . We had time to kill before the train so we decided to have a wee nosey at the hostel. The lovely lady invited us in and made us a coffee ( how nice was that ! )
The Midgies were out in form , in fact this was the worst day of the year for Midgies for me anyhoo.
Really pants that the restaurant/hotel will only serve residents there was at least 10 of us waiting on the train , good trade lost if you ask me !!
Oh yeah and then i realised i had no petrol But we made it to Pitlochry with the skin of our teeth i now know i can be in the red for at least 34 Miles ....Not sure if thats a good thing to know or not
