I was on holiday in a cottage in Altass and so a few morning walks up nearby sub 2000s were in order. I drove up the minor road out of Bonar Bridge past the golf course to park at the crossroads at NH633932. From here, a short stroll along the road led to a good track leading NE across the moorland to Loch a' Ghobhair. Progress was quick and easy and the hill soon came into view.

I followed the track until it started to veer away from the hill and took to the open moorland and crossed some boggy ground to the base of the hill proper.

I aimed for the western edge of the hill to avoid some crags and make a straightforward ascent up the heathery , with occasional rocks, slopes. I walked over to the summit cairn and enjoyed the views, especially to the SE across the Kyles of Sutherland.

Then, it was a simple case of getting back to the car by the route of ascent and driving back to Altass for brunch.
