Sparleton 1hr 30mins
First hill of the day was Sparleton from Whiteadder Reservoir where there is parking on left as you cross the bridge. We took the track from here round Summer Hill towards the ruined castle, heading to the summit before reaching the castle. We returned in the direction of the castle before taking the path and track back to the car.
Dirrington Great Law 1hr 30mins
Second hill was Dirrington Great Law where we parked next to the gate just along the road from Dronshiel. A track leads towards the trees and continues round to a wall and then all the way to the summit.
Lamberton Hill 40mins
Final hill was Lamberton Hill which was recently promoted to Marilyn status. In reality it's just a field and can probably be walked in 15mins or less. We parked on the grass verge next to the gate to the field and crossed the Sheep field before entering the cow field and over to the remains of the Fort which is the summit area. We then walked over to the trig point before ruturning to the car.
