I recall calling the starter cairn a "****" but it wasn't. You'll know what I mean...
The walk between the visitors centre & base was an hour so factor that in as 2 hrs, there & back.
I found the descent particularly tough; it's a steep mountain with a very craggy 'path' (although not one of the highest by any standard).
My friend & I took it easy & took short of 3 hrs to go up & 1hr 45 to come down.
Quite tricky going up this way, lots of false summits (especially in the mist) but spectacular when it lifts.
Be careful on the descent, can be very slippy in places.
