The weather forecast didn't turn out quite as clear as anticipated - but still a good day to finish my Fife 'sub 2000's'. So it was up (slowly) and the required photo evidence next to the trig point.

Then down (even more slowly), back-tracking from the trig point, over the stile, then east through the (open) gate before going south down a gentler slope before re-joining the upward route.
Finished off with a great Sunday roast in a local hostelry!

Hoping to nip up & down LL over the winter
Passed it umpteen times & had lunch nearby at Monturpie which is well worth a visit

This is a cheeky little hill which certainly has me huffing and puffing up its surprisingly steep ascent.

But it's a sin to just do a quick 'up and down' from Upper Largo - much, much better to start from the nice (with toilets) car park to the east of Lower Largo then enjoy a walk through beautiful Keil Den, grab the Law then follow tracks through farmland to the coast where the lovely Fife Coastal Path takes you back to the car park. With stops to breathe in the scenery and sea air this route should take about four hours.

Only had time for an 'up and down' on Sunday but will definitely return - views must be spectacular - I fancy a sharp winter's day.

The eastern Coastal Path is on next years radar, completely separate walk as Mrs F will be joining me as she doesn't do anything with an incline
