Cracking clear sunny day I could not resist climbing the Pap of Glencoe to see if the views from the top were as good as from the village. I parked the car at the start of a forest track about 600m past the bridge of Glencoe. First mistake was to walk up this forest road but realised my mistake the road is further along at a couple of houses. The going was fine to start but the condition of the path in certain bits was very slippy under foot due to the loose stones, even worse on the way down.

The views from the top made up for the poor condition of the path, defiantly one I’m glad I did on a clear day.
