Some hills in angus

up in angus at 8 am for a early start , walked mile hill, creigh hill, and hare cairn in the morning and crock in the afternoon.

Mile hill parked at road juntion muir of holm woods followed road up to kinclune, then through open fields to the summit 1 m north of 2 small rocks, retuned same route,1 hour 15 minutes.

Creigh hill parked at backwater reservoir south car park ,followed track up to col then up to summit ,no feature at the summit west of a fence, returned to car same route, 50 miniutes.

Hare cairn parked at end of public road at glenhead farm ,followed track to 2nd farm then down to cross stream and followed fence at side of woodland to juction of deer fences ,no stile had to carry dog over, short walk over short heather to summit no feature 25 m west of the trig, returned same route 1 hour 30 minutes.

Crock parked in car park at freuchie, followed good track for about 2 km to tulloch 1 house, then straight up through newly felled woodland to last section short heather to summit cairn, returned same route, 1 hour 40 minutes. :D

Like Benbeoch, where i feel that everyone should have to dodge the security, with Crock I feel that everyone should have to crawl up drainage ditches between the forestry. You have no idea of the fun you've been missing

that photo made me laugh, :lol: done that before on a shortcut to windy standard, how long ago was that taken ?

It doesn't seem that long ago, but in fact was July 2001 pre-digital, so it was scanned in. Don't think husband's knee would let him do that now.
