So Wednesday found me heading South for training, to the arse end of Scotland ,that no voting county called Dumfries

Bha an t side sgionneil , tioram agus griannach ann duthaich Parlanach ...... the weather was superb in MacFarlane country , usual uncomplicated route in brilliant conditions
Would be a fun hill in the snow and ice , steep and a hardy pull up the craggy face of her and good seallaidh open up fairly sharp
Bha coisich searbh ...easy walking and good scramble opportunities to be had , a grand wee hill this loads of character
Agus an t side ...... perfect

Bha mi air a mhullach a 'dhaith ghearr ...... was on the summit in no time ,cold and frosty with great clarity
Spent around an hour on the mullach , tucked into a wee creagan out the wind and in the sun ...alainn

I could have spent two hours on this summit and spent a fair time exploring on the way down ,as good a day as I have had

Agus bha sin e ! ....... that was it a fine day on a fine old Gaelic hill albeit with her name bastardised into an inferior tongue .

and Dumfries ? ...... horrible place , horrible county

S' fhearr leum na Gaidhealtachd
