Second munro and second attempt at trying this one. I had parked and walked for 4 miles down the East side of the reservoir in Glen Turret about a week ago but the weather was looking pretty sketchy and I was all on my own. I thought better of it and turned that day.

This time it was a bright Easter weekend, the car park was full and I'de decided to take a different route up. Headed West and across the boggy bottom slopes of Carn Chois, overtaking a party of 3 as I went. Got to the top and had it to myself so searched for the geocache up there and moved on. Really wish I'd worn my gaiters (a lesson learned!) here as it got very boggy very quickly. Moving on things got easier and I found myself quickly on the summit plateau, passing the grouse things on the North, walking right past the cache, but at the top eventually and had some lunch in the wind break.

Headed North East from here and down the steep slopes between Lochan Uaine. Lost the path and had to descend down some pretty hairy scree, but picked up the path in the basin and then it was a pleasant walk back along the path, looking at the impressive cliffs to the right.
