I wanted to try and keep driving time to a minimum today, so these Donalds near Moffat were a perfect option for me. Just an hours jaunt down the M74. The cloud was low for most of the first half of the walk. I managed to get some views on the first (Croft Head) and last (Capel Fell) hills of the day, everything in between was shrouded in clag.

This a great area to walk. The summit of the hills, don't always seem impressive when your on them, but when you get a view back from a neighbouring hill they can look impressive.

Also ... is it just me or does the gpx track look like the bat signal :lol: Thankfully there was no need to call out Batman to the rescue today :wink:

That's a good bagload for a day like this :clap: - think there was clag everywhere in the central belt. Nice pictures. I didn't even bother to take the camera with me.
