A good winter day in March on Tarmachan Ridge. Felt strong for most of the walk but think my knees were suffering on the descent and I was a bit knackered by the time we got to the track at the foot of the ridge.

The short narrow section looked a bit precarious in the snow but in fact the snow was firm enough and the way wide enough for it to feel fairly easy.

That actually looks less scary to me than when I did the scramble without snow! Maybe I need to venture out in the winter up there, it looks stunning. Great pics!

Brilliant "mountain porn" - thanks! It's what those of us that live many hours away need to galvanise us into action!!
