We were staying at no 17 Ellenabeich Cottage at Easdale again , for Christmas . so I decided to drive up and bag Stob Ban - previous stays here have also allowed Munro Bagging !!
Didn`t take Oskar as there WAS snow higher up & ICE too . A great day with fair weather & much sun - good rough track up from the parking area to the bothy - which I stopped in twice for a coffee - pre & post hill .
Totally fabulous views from the summit - short report here today - crampons needed from 700 M onwards snow & ice a major factor - I would not have continued after this without them.
no fotos home pc still sick - video & fotos put on TH via FB on 24/12................. a great winter hill !!!!!!!!
