A well deserved webtogs win! I've almost stopped crying about not lugging my tent up there that night.

Simply stunning, mountains and stars (and Chilli Con Carne :D), the pic of you 'Looking' is brilliant. This is now on the to do list. Everyone else has asked all the necessary questions, so its just a case of waiting for the right day and night. Congratulations too :D

PS Volunteer needed to carry my Telescope and Tripod up there too

What sort of tripod do you use? I guess you're cameras are on the light side but summits are windy places and even the carbon ones will contribute significantly to your pack weight?

Hello - I have two tripods - I own an ultra pod (I thinks that's whats its called ?) just a wee one. Perfect for the video shots and some of the night shots. I usually use a slightly larger one when taking night shots - maybe stands about 2 foot high when extended. Not an expensive one - bought for about 30 quid on internet - doesn't have a ball bearing head (not sure of correct terminology here!) so can be a pain to set up. and your right if its blowy both can be affected by the wind (as you can see in some of the timelaspe stuff - its not exactly still sometimes).

All th daytime shots are done without a tripod just handheld shots - I am too lazy to set I up and probably wouldn't get anywhere trying to get perfect shot etc etc lol

hope that helps :D

If there's a better photographic report on this website, please show me it. I doubt such an experience will be forgotten.

Your videos and images brought back some very happy memories for me, I lived at Kingshouse for 16 years and spent quite a bit of time on Beinn a'Chrulaiste both day and night. Winter was especially a favourite.
Great post, keep them coming
