The third day of three and it was off to the hotel names sake today Ben More. To get tired and stiff legs going there is a nice little 1.5 mile trudge up the A 85 to the access gate for the hill. Follow the farmers track up the zig zags until a point that you are under the summit and the track straightens then you head of up the mighty flanks of Ben More. This is a two hour grind up a 3000 foot slope and it is hard work!!

not quite at the summit
you are aiming for a little wall that runs for 200 ft or so that can be seen in the second picture use this to handrail you to the summit path and when you get there as long as the weather is fine the views are worth every bit of sweat you have just expired getting there! A well trodden path leads you south and down to the col in-between the two mountains( you could do a bag drop here if need be) Then its time to follow the ridge up to the summit of stob binnein don't forget to turn round and look at Ben More

the views all around are great as well as down to Loch Doine where the other option for a start place to do both of these mountains is. Retrace your steps back to the col and then head straight down for the glen bottom where you will pick up a path and eventually the farmers track back to the A85 and the walk back to the hotel!
