Suilven was a beautiful experience. We climbed it on 12/5/2014 on a fine summer day full of sun. We parked our car between Lochinver and Glencanisp Lodge, there is a new nice parking lot. We met a group of three hillwalkers, experienced hillwalkers. They guided us to the top and were the best company:) It took us 3 hours to climb to the top, but it was worth the effort. We walked the usual way - from Lochinver, around Glenacanisp Lodge, and then we walked the road till we came to the small cairn. We turned right to the boggy ground (little bit harder to walk but still ok). We came to the bottom of the ridge and after short meal break we went up. Even though this ridge looks very steep, it is easy walk to the top of the ridge. When we climbed to the ridge it was a short way to the top. The views are very nice. Now I know why some say it is finest mountain in Scotland.

Here are some pictures from the walk. Enjoy:)
