Well, february is near to the end so I decided to complete another part of my collection-mission - to climb Ben Nevis in each month of a year. Meantime I had done Ben Nevis 14x before, once also via C.M.D. arete, but still missing a climb in february and april. Last time there in december 2014 in very similar weather conditions...Finally it was my Ben Nevis no.15 today - february done and I think the april will be more gentle 8)

Hi Petr,
First, I have to tell you, you are the man  . Climbing Ben in these conditions must be a challenge. Have you been there on your own? If so, I admire your bravery:) Anyway, great pictures, hope to come back to Scotland as soon as possible.

Be well and take care

Hi Milan, thanks for your words and yes, I was there on my own...It was challenging, but it's what I love - Challenges  Worse condition on Ben Nevis was during my trip in december 2014 and january 2014  , I have not done these reports yet as I am creating reports from my previous trips slowly now step by step, but I will put them here soon. Glad to hear you love Scotland too  I wish you will come soon and you will conquer and enjoy more beautiful hills here. Have a great time always in mountains, keep safe and take care

Your rucksac must have been well weighted down with sandwiches at the summit since it was left open with a loose raincover. Not the best of days but if you want a challenge........
