Ben Klibreck and Ben Hope
Weather never seems to disappoint, predicted high winds and showers throughout Scotland, and that’s exactly what we got.
We decided on the far North Munro’s of Ben Klibreck and Ben Hope as there was the slightest chance of better weather.
Ben Klibreck on Saturday was horrendous weather, high winds, with rain and sleet added to the mix. This was probably one of our worst days in the hills. The rain disappeared by the time we got back to the van, this helped us get organised for the night atleast.
Slept well on Saturday night, we were fed and watered by 9am ish Sunday morning. We headed for Alltnacaillich; we started our walk about 2.5 km north of Alltnacaillich.
Luckily for us we must have got a near perfect weather window. Rain and wind stopped prior to starting and finishing our hike.
Glad we made the effort on a terrible weather predicted weekend.
All above pics are from Ben Hope Trip.
