Great walk, was worried about possibility of snow higher up, but was reassured that i would be Ok by the ranger at Glen Muick. Weather was perfect, not a breath of wind and great visibility. As this was my first proper walk this year, i found it hard going on the way up, but the views were amazing. Managed to find the energy to make the detour to Meikle Pap. Had lunch at the summit, and sat by the waterfall for an hour on the descent. Had to walk through a few snow sections on the way down, but nothing deeper than my knees, just walked in foot prints already there. Only say 5 other people all day, amazing solitude and peace.
