Glencoe! Simply put, words and pictures cannot do it justice. It is without doubt, apart from my home area of Glenelg and Arnisdale, my favourite part of Scotland. I always fail to drive from Tyndrum to Fort William, without at least stopping once. It is just magical. Since starting on the Munros, it is the hills of Glencoe that have excited me the most. So much history, so much beauty, so many stories those hills could tell.

Within half an hour, you start worrying about how long it will take, due to having to stop to take it all in.

Hopefully today I managed to take a few pictures that havent been seen before

It was a struggle to leave my first spot, I could have stayed there all day, but the prospect of possibly even better views spurred me on

I was right.

It takes a greater writer than me, to put into words how magical it feels in such a stunning place. It is a feeling those of you have been there will know, and those who haven't? Well, get up there :-)

Will certainly be back up the wee Bookill in the futures, but not before exploring the other wonders of Glencoe and Glen Etive!
