Nice Walk after a dry Spell
But could be a bit of a bog after a wet period!

Pleasant, straightforward walk with good views from the summit.
I did this after about 2 weeks of dry weather and some of the peaty sections of the walk were still quite boggy.
After a wet spell these boggy areas could turn into a quagmire (as mentioned in the description) and I wouldn't recommend if has been wet.

Steady ascent with straight forward route finding.

The Start is obvious:

The Stile

The footpath leaves the track (small cairn and the pole up on the left.

still boggy in places

Only a few patches of snow and nothing to cause any problems

Nice views from the summit.
