In 2009 the time had come to visit Shetland. We enjoyed a wonderful flight in clear weather. Beneath us were the Orkney Isles, Fair Isle and suddenly Sumburgh Head. The latter we found so beautiful that its lighthouse became our main goal the next day. On our way back we decided to visit Jarlshof.
