Well done on the 1000th. I was on St Kilda kast year did pretty much a reverse of your route. Had hoped for Boreray but the expense and logistics was too much to arrange at short notice but got another plan to get there :D Are you planning the 5 other Marlyns on St Kilda. The stacs look awesome but a bit too much for me :  Great pics and report. Will try and put mine up soon (a year late  )

Great report and pictures. Must have been a relief to get that weather window!

Thanks Collachiotach, jimandandrea, Gordie12, lochlaggan, Sunset tripper, litljortindan and rockhopper.

Sunset tripper, I have tried twice to get enough interested parties together to charter the boat to St. Kilda for a week but failed on both occasions. I would certainly give Dun and Soay a go. Boreray and Stac an Armin look "reasonable". Stac Lee just looks mental :)

Taking a work break pondering my last dozen or so Munros out of 284 as it was when I started then read this.
I'm totally in awe at your reaching 1000, what a magnificent achievement and on such a place in such weather. Anyone undertaking these quests will fully appreciate the logistics in time and effort alone.
I'd love to know if you plan to finish the mere 500 odd  that you have left ? Meanwhile I'm away to investigate further to determine if I can catch you up
My warmest congratulations on this feat and many thanks for posting :D

Well done on your 1000 - as your report notes, luck was in with the weather.
Your pics of the stacks are superb.

Just think of these coming within an inch or two of your head and face :)

We don't doubt
We were there too (with Kilda Cruises) and saw the 'attack'. We even had a short conversation about it.

Very nice post. Congrats!
