If trip reports with witty prose & brilliant photo's of magnificent Scottish mountains is your thing, exit this report now. There is none of that here!!!! The day started ok, nice easy drive to Cairnwell and off walking by 07:45. Cloud seemed high enough and it was quite warm. Oh, how you can be fooled It was just after leaving Tolmount summit that the cloud descended, and stayed that way for the rest of the walk. Being on featureless ground didn't help, though we did manage to find paths now and again!! Tom Buidhe & Cairn of Claise were located with not too much trouble, but Glas Maol proved to be a bit more elusive. We to'd and fro'd, following the GPS directions (and ignoring them at times ) until after an age we finally happened on the body of Glas Maol. We quickly ascended that, then headed off, hoping to make for Creag Leacach. But, luck wasn't with us, as through the cloud, we spotted some ski tows and set off for them, only to discover they weren't the ones to lead down to Meall Odhar. Getting well hacked off, we decided to call it a day and made for Meall Odhar, and followed the ski tow path back to the car. I'm sure these hills have much to offer, but i didn't see much of what it was
