I walked a slight variation on your route for this walk today. I was bound by time constraints (open day at the primary school), and so cut out the bottom end of the Hoe itself. Having parked up I made for rape hoe and then on to the head. Excellent views. The weather was great on the coast and cloudy a mile inland so there was nowhere better on the island to be.
I thoroughly recommend this walk if you've got a spare couple of hours
