Late Sunday afternoon, trying to pack lots in to one day - we picked this as a nice, easy walk with not too much effort or time needed so that my sister (visiting from US) and son could get a wee taster of Scottish hills :D Scoob and I hadn't been up here before either but knew of the alternative route due to forestry work... turned out to be much steeper than we were expecting  and the whole of the diverted part of the route was just a big muddy bog! Still, good fun had by all and everyone made it to the summit with great views and got back to the car park without any rains  or falls
