Left the house at 7am - cold morning, two hours in the car to get to Braes of Foss car park (charge £2), bursting for the toilet at Aberfeldy but no where open to go, first car in the car park.
started walk at 9.15am after getting boots on etc. , top coming and going in cloud.
Quick walk up to the summit with 2 5 minute stops to catch my breath, have a coffee and bite to eat. Warm and clouded over just after start.
Temperature reducing as I go up. Put jacket on at start of boulder field as the cloud had rolled in. Moisture in the air but nothing significant. Views to Lawers range and carn gorm x4 coming and going (both also in cloud).
Reached the top in 1.5hours. Stopped for a bite to eat and take in the views for 20 mins or so - cloud coming and going - no views to the west
Started down and passed numerous groups/couples/families - at least 30-40 people on the hill so v. busy, some german tourists - mostly english though. Back to car by 12.15pm - exactly 3 hours after starting.
