Another big day, taking longer than we'd thought  although the clag and pouring rain (despite the good forecast) didn't help  Good to see Polly & hubby at the summit of the Munro :o but was also surprised at the extra 2 tops and big drop before finally climbing the corbett... at least the sky had cleared by this time and it was sunshine all the way out 8) Nice ridge along the top of Buidhe Bheinn, cracking views over to Barisdale Bay and Knoydart and we were also surprised to find such a variety of trees (inc eucalyptus) on the walk back to Kinloch Hourn before finishing off with a road walk to complete the loop.
Final surprise was in the drive out the following morning [abandoned earlier plans to have a high camp on the corbett across the way, due to having soaking wet feet and fast disappearing energy levels!]... highland cows had been all over the road on the drive in on Friday night, but now they were crossing the bridge towards us :o Figured we should let them cross before we started driving towards them, then a car came up behind them anyway - so we had to wait for the car to basically drive the cattle towards us til it got through, then we could slowly pick our way back through them. Managed to avoid getting the van scraped by those big wide horns! :D

Scoob's video
