The West Pentlands - The Covenanter's Grave from Garvald

Time was short today and I'd wanted to revisit the Covenanter's Grave for quite a while. Saying that, I also wanted to squeeze in some other parts of the west Pentlands I hadn't visited previously. I suspect North Muir Hill, for example, is seldom trod.

All in all it was a good day out with the dogs.

A more direct out and back route from Garvald Home Farm to the grave is certainly do-able, and doubtless shorter. There are several wooden guide posts alongside a path across the moor east of West Water Burn. The path is faint and boggy in parts.
