Arrived at Layby 9am with Gavin and Jimbo. Douglas in car in front. In total, 19 and one dog (Cuillin) set out to accompany Douglas and Kevin on their Compleation walk. Weather was cool and showery so waterproofs worn most of day. Champagne (+ dram) enjoyed at compleation (Tom Buidhe) , and stopped on way back for lunch in a more sheltered spot (although still raining a bit). We then retraced our steps back until 9 of us decided to make the very little effort to take in Cairn of Claise. This was just a minor rise, but rewarded with better views than we managed on the cloud-covered Tom Buidhe. After a few photos, we headed down to try to catch rest of group, but they were a good 5-10 mins ahead of us. We made it back to car just as midgies started to bite. Following a quick trip up to ski centre to use toilets, we had a barbecue in layby, prepared by Denise, along with more drinks (for non-drivers) and cake. Back to Douglas's house for quick coffee before Jimbo and I headed back to Anglis and Ron's for the night. A memorable day. And a privilege. GPS on Strava.

I had the pleasure of meeting Douglas and Kevin on the Mullardoch Munros on two separate occasions and they spoke of this compleation, well done to them both
