2.5 hours to Moruisg (928m), and 4 hours in total to Sgurr nan Ceannaichean (913m). The ridge between the two is a delight, an excellent walk in good weather giving excellent views. Wildlife on the high ground was good, with close up views of ptarmigan and mountain hare. There was also a herd of 40+ red deer on the high ground between the summits.
Navigating off the spur between the two to the north requires care, and the tendency to stray too far to the left needs to be avoided, however, the path can be very difficult to pick up and, if lost, the way through the newly regenerated forestry area is difficult with knee to hip high heather already covering uneven and rocky ground. This is to be avoided. There is a very good path above the fenced off nature reserve that passes through the reserve safely lower down.
Weather: Warm, dry, with excellent visibility and some breeze on the higher ground and ridges. :D :D :D
