Completed by. Dave, Julie, Wilson and Jake.
Date. Sat 5th sept 2015
Weather. Supreme conditions
Time. 15.25hrs
Distance 37.6km
Ascent. 3277m

Hills completed
Binnein Mor, Na Graugaichean, Stob Coire a Chairn, An Gearanach, Am Bodach, Sgurr a Maim, Stob Ban and Mullach nan Coirean.

We were last on this ridge several years ago. On that day, Julie had a nasty fall on Binnein Mor in winter conditions, and was lucky to escape with a few fractures.
We returned to the scene of that accident, the NNE ridge of Binnein Mor, this was to be our entry on to the main ridge and the 8 Munros beyond. And for Wilson the Beardie our 1st Munro of the day (Binnein Mor) would be his 200th. Great scrambling on this ridge to the summit, made all the better by the fantastic weather we would get all day.
Our biggest ascent day ever in the hills was made so much easier by the unexpected weather (MWIS) once again was way of the mark.

Impressive stuff, looked brilliant and what a fantastic day you got :D

Don't know if I can be ar**d with these long endurance walks these days

The NNE ridge of Binnein Mor seems to be a dangerous place, I came a cropper there myself :problem:

What an epic set of photographs of some of the most beautiful mountains in Scotland, and it must have been a true test of endurance. Hope the legs are recovered by now! It was a great day for a walk indeed, somebeatiful lenticular clouds about too!
I think I have seen you near the minor summit between Binnein Mor and Na Gruagaichean early afternoon (alone, wearing a black HH long sleeve top and carrying a large blue/orange Montaine rucksack as I was wild camping on Sgor Eilde Beag).

Wasn't it just the most amazing day??!! I was on the opposite side of the Glen on the same day doing the Ben to the Grey Corries. I didn't see you though?? :D

Sadly and unlike you, I have only a few pics from my phone to remember it by, having left my camera amid the rock on the south side of Sgurr Choire Claurigh :( :( :(
