Short and snowy walk with Mum and Dad in May 2015.
Very boggy underfoot until we reached the snow line, but otherwise an easy walk.

Our friend the cosy hut

Lots of frozen steps already kicked into the snow ( a good foot deep) leading up to summit so they were nice and easy to follow!

Planned to do the munro behind also, Carn Sgulain, but wintry conditions and wind were a bit unexpected and weather was looking like it might close in at any second. Not being confident winter walkers we retraced out steps back down to the hut.

Back at the now seemingly very cosy hut, we enjoyed cheese, tomatoes and oatcakes out of the wind, was a lovely place to spend a while. Lots of interesting old grafitti on the walls too.
We were a bit reluctant to leave :D
