The area around Loch Quoich is one of my favorites and one thing which keeps me smiling are the highland cows, which seems to roam the foot of the hills and roads each time I drive down the glen.
There was no difference on the Saturday when I drove up to climb Sgurr a'Mhaoraich. The cows were out and I had to wait patiently until they shifted their bums off the road.
Parking my car at one of the tiny lay-bys the path starts straight away and climbs up a grassy slope. Oh how nice was it to walk on a bog free path

The cow must have enjoyed the photo shoot as well

Image
One of the places were you can see more cows than cars on the road

Image
Was rather curious to find out what they were doing at my car! (When I got to the car, I realized they have been licking my windows laugh)
