Lovely walk up, weather great to start with but started to close in. This was a x2 Mars Bar climb (diabetic companion) which was very doable for a fair newbie to munro walking.

Coming down got hit by torrential down-pour so waded back to the car. Tempting though it was to jump in Loch Earn at the bottom, felt as though had already had a swim.

Note to self - need new boots!!!

Loved it and would thoroughly recommend it to new and old walkers alike. Next time would camp out overnight beforehand on the Loch banks as noted some other walkers did.

It's great to be out in the hills. I went back to visit the nearby Corbett a few years ago and found the banks of the Lochside to be a tip with the rubbish of campers and fishermen....has this improved? ..... and...has the bridge at the West end of the road on the South side been repaired/replaced?

Dunno about the rubbish, but the bridge was replaced about 3 years ago.
