Following litljortindan's report we drove through Ley and after a few minutes turned right onto a road and saw the sign for Cushnie Forest where we parked. We went through the gate.

A good forest track takes you past another gate and onto the open farmland. Veering right there is another gate. We took the path to the left and followed it through some newly planted trees. After a short walk we came into heather and passed a small trig point.

We carried on through the woods and came to the top with a great view of Tap o' Noth.

I'm aiming to do all the sub 2000s in Aberdeenshire. Thanks for your report litljortindan, wouldn't have known where to start without it!
