A long time in climbing
Posted: Thu Oct 15, 2015 10:26 pmAfter a pedal up Glen Tilt, and stupidly adding in Glen Banvie too, I couldn't face getting back on my bike so decided that since it was a) dry, b) less cloudy c) not under ice or snow, as is always the case when o have considerd Sciehallion, it was time to give it a go.
A fantastic path takes you to the Boulder field then it's time to hop, skip and a jump and not fall down any of the cracks. Before you know it, you're on the top enjoying amazing views in all directions. The wind pIckes up and it was time to descend with the hood firmly pulled around my ears as the wind stength picked up. Still people poured past me. A busy mountain indeed, not one if seeking solitude.
