The forecast of very good visibility and clouds free tops was good reason to go to Torridon again. Despite the distance, all the driving time  and the fact that I need to be back home in the afternoon I was looking forward to go there...Torridon is really such a beautiful and special place and if the weather forecast is promising I did not want miss the opportunity of clear views... 8) :D
Destination chosen and the selection of mountains was easy: Beinn Eigh done already, Liathach keeping for longer day so Beinn Alligin looked like the right one for the limited-shorter time in a week day :D :D 8)
Prepared all my mountains stuff, information about Beinn Alligin and also some spare routes in different areas just in case of plan B or C, I set alarm for 01:00 am. I left home about 02:15 am and drove to the North...It's my usual time for my early morning's trips, usually I'm ok also driving the long distance after very short sleeping time, but this time I felt really sleepy during my way... :o Stopped many times for some short refreshing exercise outside of my car...By the reason I got to the car park around 07:15 am, 30-40 mins later than expected  On the positive side daylight just started slowly, no darkness like in the case of arriving earlier
I parked my car at the empty car park - nobody else crazy like me    and then I started my walk at 07:24 am used the narrow nice path on the West side of the bridge and my plan was do the circle incl. the Horns clock-wise.

You will have to slow down I cant keep up with your reports

Another great day there Petr and yes an early start. I think my record was 0230hrs which wasn't planned, although had only intended an hour later, but a late cup of tea before bed had other plans

That was very nice Petr, fantastic views, we missed all that when we were on Alligin due to clag so its just become another "must do it again in better weather" mountain and there's quite a few of those on the list
Fantastic stuff,
Cheers.

Thanks Dave :D I can imagine the late cup of tea  by the reason I can't drink a tea shortly before bed time, especially for my very early starts  ...even my sleeping time before most of my long distanced trips is just about 1-3 hours only  usually waking up between midnight and 02:00 am - it's necessary for my one day's early trips :D

Aww looks like you got an absolutely gorgeous day. I did this walk in the clag at the beginning of August, and although it cleared later on, we never got anything near the views had! A cracking walk though, and such a beautiful area.

Thanks :) It was really great day in the mountains, sometime the trust to weather forecast is rewarded :D ...and the forecast sounded really good for the day, so I did not want miss the opportunity to see the beauty around...Torridon is very beautiful and special place...one of them where you really need the views from tops...for day like this Torridon deserve the effort of very early start and long distance drive even for such a short time :D

Pity you did not get the views, but I guess this is one of the places you will return again...I wish you get a clear day for it

Thank you :D
Waking up early gives me the opportunity to spend a longer time in a short day and also to catch a sunrise from a summit sometime...if the weather allow :D
