Great stuff - really enjoyed that.

Your heavy rucksack brings back bad memories of my pre-digital days, two SLR's (one for colour slide and one for black and white prints), tripod, rolls of film, filters, numerous lenses including a 100mm - 400mm which weighed a ton etc etc - I'm feeling a twinge in my back just thinking about it.

You've just reminded me that I've failed with one of my 2015 targets (to climb a Munro in the dark), your photos and report clearly show just how good it can be.

Looks like you were on to a winner despite the lack of aurora 8) . There's some good routes over those tops from the east.

Great blog and photos, must be some view from there at sunrise. I am keen on using some of these photographs for one of my work reports and wondered if I could get in touch with you to give some more details, in order to seek your permission?
