This has been my most enjoyable walk yet. Ben Vorlich is a lovely straight forward ascent with beautiful views at the summit.
To continue on to Stuch a'Chroin was an experirience for me. I still consider myself an amateur Munro bagger. I would recommend to anyone that feels capable to take the harder route to the summit. It is a good, steep bit of scrambling but it's worth it. I am very proud of myself for doing so.
The walk back from Stuch a'Chroin I have to admit is a very long, boggy walk. I kept just off the track back to the right and avoided some of the deeper boggy terrain but still had a few slips much like my friend. I would strongly suggest a good pair of walking boots for this.
I did this walk yesterday and I am feeling the effects today. Worth every minute. I am happy in myself to hit my double figures of Munros and look forward to next year when I continue.
