Very early starts for the three of us to ensure the completion before darkness. This was to be the start of the Autumn Meet of the Walkhighlands held in the wonderful area of Torridon and not a minute was to be wasted. Beinn Damh was the chosen hill and after a quick stop off for a bacon roll and drink near Garve it was straight off to the Torridon Inn car park where the walk starts. All booted up and ready to go we walked to the rear of the Inn where there are prominent signposts directing you over the A896 just beyond the bridge where there is also room for parking a couple of cars.

Stunning scenery! I hope to be walking there next summer and the map tells me that many more visit will follow after that. The weather wasn’t too bad for you, it seems, at least on that day.

Yes Silverhill, you will love it in Torridon, spoilt for choice of hills to walks with low level walks in abundance as well :D
Slightly overcast with cloud coming and going at the summit but compared to what had been forecast, superb. Hope your staying a good few days when your there, but include this one, a wee cracker  :D

That looks a really good day out Rod, another mountain to add to our ever growing list.
Torridon has a heck of a lot to offer, its a great place, just wish we were a wee bit closer.

Hi Dave it was good to have you along, it was well worth the early start. I note the photo was taken after coming off the actual summit, it's maybe got something to do with the pint you and Theresa earned at the Torridon Inn   Clearer sky and all that.

Hi BP, it was good to finally meet up with you Kevin and Lucy at the weekend, we were really spoilt with the weather we got for the first three days. Yes your right a fine wee hill and worth another visit.

Good report there Rod,

Seems you all had a good time prior to the meet. Start of a busy weekend both hiking and socialising.
Must try to get it bagged next time in area.
