This was the Sunday walk that probably should not have happened, and we got what we deserved an utter soaking, I don't think any top clothes manufacturers products would have saved us from coming off the hill like drowned rats. I found the down climbs particularly scary with steamed up glasses and wet slippy rock, not ideal conditions with a gale force wind to boot thrown in on the walkout made keeping ones footing exceedingly difficult. With all the above in mind this will be my shortest ever report. From the viewpoint car park take track to the mast if you can see it that is  about 1k in distance and then follow the ridge South then East for another 1 1/2k including some steep section down climbs to the summit cairn then follow the outward journey back to the car, hopefully in nicer conditions than we experienced.

All still smiling here though, what a weekend walking, great company great fun, great hills and great views! Now for the next WH meet!

Hi Rod, we were parked in the view point car park about 5 summers ago on a lazy touristy day from Gairloch, if I'd known there was a Corbett just a short hop away we'd have had a quick shin up it, research is a wonderful thing
Ah well, its one to go back to and "Pass of the cattle" has an interesting road

Oh, too bad, you didn't see the views as they are tremendous. (But I'm sure you really knew that.) Next time choose a good day! Have to say though that these weather conditions make for an interesting report.
