Brutal weather, horizontal rain and galeforce north-east winds. Made the summit but didn't venture along the ridge due to adverse weather conditions. To be repeated on a better day........

Only a few pics taken, this was about the clearest.

Holding on to mother earth at the summit....
.

In hindsight it was really that brutal that we shouldn't have gone up.
Kinda glad we didn't stick to plan A which was the 5 Sisters of Kintail.

Had a txt from my nephew on holiday in Oban who allegedly claimed it was blue skies and sunshine..... he didn't send
the requested pic so I have no proof as of yet............

Looks lovely 8)

Your photo demonstrates the need for trig points / summit cairns - looks like you'd have wanted a bigger one to hold onto.

Still my favorite walk, although in that weather... There was this one time I did it in weather like this with an instant bbq for making dinner. The after effects of barely cooked chicken at 3000feet was not pleasant.

We only completed it really as the lady in the pic was doing her first munro........... can't get much worse really.

Her other hobby is freefall parachuting..... can't imagine where you would end up jumping out of a plane in that wind. Well off target to say the least.............
