My long-awaited trip back to Corrour. The forecast was bad, loads of rain and storm were predicted. Alas, it partly turned out this way. The rain wasn’t that bad but the western wind was very strong. I had planned to climb Carn Dearg and Sgor Gaibhre. At the top of the Carn Dearg I was almost blown over by the wind. It didn’t seem wise to continue. All the more reason to return to Sgor Gaibhre next year.

Have still to do these two. Is there a path of sorts off the vehicle track? 8)

Hi Dogplodder! You can take the landcover track for a very long time. The Carn Dearg is for the greater part pathless but even in bad weather conditions it’s not difficult to navigate.
