A December walk when Storm Desmond was approaching was risky. However, on Sunday the weather cleared and we had a wonderful walk. When reached Corrie Fee, the place was stunning with blue skies and flurries of snow. Once you start to climb by the waterfall it became a little blustery but we carried on. Crossing the waterfalls was nerve racking as the snow partially covered the path but we headed on as the wind calmed down. Some scrambling over the rocks. Now when we neared the top the path disappeared completely and so did the previous foot steps we were following. The walking was hard going through drifts and long grass but seeing two figures in front gave us a boost and we eventually got to the path again. The top appeared and so did the wind but the weather was clear and the views stunning. We didn't hang around and headed over to Driesh. The path back down Glen Doll was hidden again by snow but once we found it previous footsteps marked the way then it opened up again. It's quite steep here and a wrong footing could see an easy fall down to the right so make sure you have good footwear and spikes to help your decent if doing this is winter.
Very good walk and a beautiful place, highly recommend.
