After over a week of constant rain and with many roads closed or even washed away with flooding in the NE, I had decided enough was enough and was again heading West. Saturday was looking good said the forecasters so Friday afternoon set sail so to speak from the East side towards Drumochter up the A9 where there were no reported flooding problems through Laggan towards Glen Nevis YH where I would stay the night. After a meal in Fort Bill I returned to the YH for an intertaining evening with a couple of German Scottish Hill lovers Franz and Rudi who were on a three week tour of Scotland, lucky guys . Over a few drams and beers many new ideas were hatched for their holidays, hope you guys are enjoying Skye when you read this. In the morning I was up quite early and ready for Theresa when she arrived after driving up in the morning.[/attachment]
