Ooops, meant to set that to private as just tinkering with route options for big ole backpack from Iona to St Andrews in May but glad to have been of service! :lol:

Definitely - probably nicer on bike than on foot actually.

It would be a slog on foot :!:
I've cycled quite a lot of the route, but not the Bridge of Orchy bit, though was real keen to do that and get a close up look though the gap at the end of Loch Lyon...

I like the sound of this. Quite fancy this with an overnight camp somewhere in the middle. Would need to be in summer tho'. :D :D :D

We usually get a nice spell in May so as good a time as any. Go for it. Just luck really!

Done it chasing DofE on foot and on bike.
Lots of tracks. One short no-path section.
You avoid the crowds.
Glen Lochay / top of Glen Lyon will be lovely in 20 years time with the new forest.

Would you recommend going along north or south side of Loch Lyon. Looks like there's tracks on both sides.
