After a superb day on the hill yesterday today's target was to be the Three Corbetts referred to as the Rois- Bheinn Round and as the winter days are shorter we had decided to tackle them starting at Alisary rather than Inverailor. We were staying at the fine bunkhouse accommodation at the Glenfinnan Station Museum in an old sleeper carriage and at £15.00 a night was excellent value. This is where Dooterbang was to join myself and Mountain Thyme.

It was at this point we heard a distant shout from below us from a couple of irate gillies who were to be conducting a shoot later on in the morning. With the late change of plan we had totally forgotten to check with the estate re access. After a few words and explaining where we were headed the seemed ok with our plans as long as we kept to the North side of the Boundary wall heading up the hillside to An Stuc

I found it a great set of hills in summer, looks even better with the snow.

Superb views all day, the views to the Isles were superb, the only downside was my lack of fitness and the very strong gusts of wind blowing the spindrift. But great hills as you say well worth a re-visit.

Yer fitter than MT for sure

Awesome day in challenging conditions. Even the difficult terrain near the finish in darkness couldn't taint our smiles :)

Sublime views to the islands... 8)

Your right Collaciotach, the guy was irate because others had done the same as us the day before   Put it this way we never heard a single shot all day, so maybe some deer saved
